Kitsilano Cottage, the structure, is a heritage designation qualified 1916 Craftsman bungalow, typical of the Kitsilano neighbourhood. It has been meticulously restored & ethically upgraded to provide modern living convenience with architectural integrity to its origins.
A Suite @ Kitsilano Cottage is an upscale, garden level suite of 825 sq. ft. There are 2 bedrooms. One has a king size & the other a queen size bed. There is, a double sofabed, in the living room. The furnishings are a blend of antique & authentic hardwood reproductions in the Craftsman or, as our guests from the United Kingdom fondly refer to it, Macintosh style.
The suite features private entry, patio, phone line, TV with DVD/VCR & cable, Broadband, CD player, 1 bathroom with tub/shower, kitchen & in suite laundry. Guests, staying over a week, are provided weekly cleaning & linen changes. Breakfast is not served. The suite is provisioned with, fresh fruit and baking, coffee & tea preparation supplies for a complimentary, self catered, first morning continental breakfast. There are many wonderful restaurants, within walking distance. The suite offers fully equipped cooking facilities.
